On November 7, a robbery attempt took place in Riverside County, California, with a suspect allegedly attacking a person at an ATM on Lakeshore Drive. The authorities later identified the suspect as Henry Jackson. This incident, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, is the second of its kind at the same location within a week.
Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station acted quickly, with their Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) and Special Enforcement Team (SET) joining the investigation. This combined effort allowed authorities to identify and apprehend the 56-year-old Lake Elsinore resident at his home, where the vehicle used and clothes allegedly worn during the assault, were also found.
Due to similarities between these incidents, detectives concluded that Jackson was also the likely perpetrator of the first robbery. Accordingly, authorities booked him into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on two counts of robbery.
This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Deputy Mullins or Deputy Decaro at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station at (951) 245–3300.
