Last Saturday, a fire erupted at a car wash in the 4000 block of University Parkway, San Bernardino. The incident significantly damaged the interior of the establishment, but nearby vegetation and a gas station were spared.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department reports that teams discovered a vehicle on fire within the automatic car wash.
Despite challenging wind conditions, the fire crews swiftly put the fire out within just 20 minutes, avoiding further damage. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and luckily, no injuries have been reported.
