Yesterday, the Santa Rosa Police Department appealed on social media for the public to assist in locating a missing 71-year-old man, Byron Montgomery, last sighted on Sunday. According to their Facebook post, Montgomery is a resident of Santa Rosa and was last witnessed leaving his residence on a motorized scooter.
The Santa Rosa Police Department's post includes a description of Montgomery, details of his last known clothing, and his transportation - a black "Pride" scooter with a basket. Anybody with information is encouraged to contact the department's non-emergency line.
