
Yesterday, a potential act of violence threatened the Fitch Mountain School, based on a Facebook post by the Healdsburg Police Department that stated that two students received menacing messages in a group chat from an unidentified individual.
In response, local law enforcement increased their presence around the school, assigning an officer specifically to monitor the campus.
Determined efforts by school administrators and police yielded new information, enabling a search warrant for the social media platform to be, issued.
The authors of the threats were discovered - two young teenagers from Santa Rosa, aged 12 and 13, were found responsible.
