The search has intensified for 81-year-old Michele Paul, the Geyserville resident who vanished without a trace over two weeks ago, with law enforcement and concerned citizens alike rallying for assistance. The frail, silver-haired woman, last seen sporting sweats and taking the wheel of a black 2019 Volkswagen Jetta, remains the subject of an urgent search that now enlists in the entire Sonoma County community.
Last spotted on November 14, near her home at around 1 PM, and again in Monte Rio on Saturday, efforts to locate Michele have escalated following the Sheriff's Department's recent assumption of her case that was first reported to the Healdsburg Police Department, as detailed in a Facebook post by the Sonoma Sheriff's Office. These developments, combined with a Silver Alert initiated by the California Highway Patrol, exemplify the rising anxiety over her wellbeing, said to be compromised by cognitive issues.
The Sonoma Sheriff's Office, alongside the Healdsburg Police Department, is pleading for anyone who might catch a glimpse of Michele, a petite figure at 5’2” and 110 pounds, with gray hair, to reach out immediately—a sentiment echoed in a report by Hoodline. She's believed to be cruising, possibly lost, in her Jetta, license plate 8LBD141, and her last known direction was westbound on Highway 116 leaving Monte Rio.
Law enforcement urges any individuals with information to call the Sonoma Sheriff's Dispatch at 707-565-2121 or dial 9-1-1 if they spot her, as immediate action could be the key to a safe recovery.
