Yesterday, a car-pedestrian accident took place on West Moorpark Street in Studio City. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) announced the incident and has subsequently solicited discussion on pedestrian safety and traffic incident response in the city.
As per the LAFD Alert, a 911 call around 7:04 p.m. reported an adult male trapped under a vehicle. Responding firefighters successfully extricated the pedestrian who was in "at least serious condition" and required transport to the nearest hospital. The LAPD is handling further investigation.
