
Yesterday, a brush fire instigated in Sunland, Los Angeles posing danger to nearby structures. As reported via the LAFD ALERT, the blaze was situated at 8358 Big Canyon Dr, initially encompassing an area of 50 feet by 100 feet, with a moderate uphill spread rate of light-to-medium grass fire.
Through the collaborative efforts of several firefighting agencies including the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), Los Angeles County Firefighters, and Angeles National Forest Firefighting ground crews, the situation was promptly addressed.
According to a follow-up report by the LAFD, just 37 minutes following the initial alert, the flames' advance was halted at a size of 100 feet by 100 feet without any reported injuries, property damages, or mandatory evacuations.
