With the scene set on the 4600 block of Arlington Street, police came upon a man struck by a bullet amidst swings and slides. Frantically wheeled out on a stretcher and transported to an ambulance that awaited his dire need for medical attention, the victim's condition has been described as stable, according to a KIAH report.
After the man was taken away to receive care, Houston police stayed at the park, searching for clues. The motive remains under investigation.
