Yesterday, a vehicle struck a wall at 17800 W Parthenia St. in Northridge, trapping and ultimately claiming the life of the driver. The Urban Search and Rescue specialists scrambled to free the victim from the wreck, but as they worked, it became all too soon clear that the driver had not survived as reported by the LAFD.
