Early yesterday, two separate car accidents occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) in Malibu, resulting in several injuries and disruptions. As reported by ABC7, the first collision happened approximately at 7 a.m. involving a dump truck and a passenger vehicle near PCH and Tonga Street. From this, four injuries were sustained, with one critical, two moderate, and one minor. Two individuals declined medical treatment at the scene.
Likewise, CBS News relayed the details of the second collision, which occurred at approximately 7:35 a.m. Caused by a big rig trying to navigate the existing crash site, it collided with a California Highway Patrol (CHP) vehicle that was not occupied at the time, thus causing a three-vehicle accident with a Tesla and Ford F-150 also party to the incident. With one minor injury reported from the Tesla driver, another patient declined medical treatment on the scene.
ABC7 accounted for five people hospitalised due to the collisions, however their current condition remains unknown.
