Tragedy struck near a storefront in Victorville, as deputies stumbled upon a grim sight, an unidentified man found dead, just as a small blaze had been extinguished at the site. According to the official report, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies were called to the 14100 block of Bear Valley Road after receiving reports of a lifeless body spotted at approximately 4:20 a.m. yesterday.
Upon their arrival, deputies encountered the smoldering remnants of what appeared to be a minor fire, near the entrance of a business – and there, among the ashes of extinguished flames, lay the unidentified man. This uncanny incident has since launched a meticulous death investigation by the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigation Division. In due course, the Coroner’s Office is set to conduct an autopsy to unravel the mysterious conditions leading to the man’s demise, and in due, process confirm his identity.
