Earlier today, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department requested public assistance in locating a missing Lakewood resident, 57-year-old David Eugene Jones. Last observed on the 3200 block of South Street yesterday, Jones is a white male, 5'9" tall, weighs 175 lbs, and has gray hair and hazel eyes. He wore a blue shirt and blue pants at the time of his disappearance, as reported by the LASD.
The case has been compounded by Jones's epilepsy diagnosis, making it imperative for him to take daily medication. This has intensified the urgency of locating him. This plea for public assistance conveys not only the gravity of the situation but also echoes the worry of Jones' relatives, eagerly waiting for his safe return.
If anyone has information regarding Jones' whereabouts, the LASD urges them to contact the Missing Persons Unit at (323) 890-5500. Or, if they want to remain anonymous, they can reach out to "Crime Stoppers", either by phone at (800) 222-TIPS (8477) or through the "P3 Tips" mobile app available on Google Play, the Apple App Store, or their website.
