The Windsor Police Department ramps up its holiday cheer with the annual Pack the Patrol Car-Toy Drive, a heartfelt campaign that invites the community to spread joy to families in need by donating new and unwrapped toys.
The event kicks off at the 22nd Annual Windsor Holiday Celebration & Tree Lighting, taking place on December 7th, located at Town Green, where the holiday spirit will light up the night from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
For those who can't make it to the tree lighting or prefer to give in quiet, the Windsor Police Department has set up collection barrels, ready to receive toy donations in the lobby until December 13. "We can’t wait to see you at the Tree Lighting!" the department shared on their Facebook page, along with the invitation to locals and anyone willing to bring a smile to a child’s face.
All contributions are set to go directly to the Windsor Community Holiday Food and Toy Drive, an annual initiative spearheaded by Windsor Community Circle.
