
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that Amandita Bradford Baum, the 73-year-old woman reported missing earlier this week, has been located. The announcement came following an extensive search that involved the public, media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel, with the Sheriff’s Information Bureau expressing "thanks to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Amandita."
Previously, officials had been asking locals to keep an eye out for Baum, who was last seen on Sunday, December 10th, on the 4800 block of 131st Street around 12:15 p.m. Baum, described as standing 5-foot-3 and weighing 146 pounds with green eyes and blonde hair, was reported to have dementia. According to the Hoodline report, efforts to quickly find her were imperative due to this increased risk.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Missing Persons Unit took the lead in the investigation, urging the community to report any sightings or information that might help to swiftly locate Baum.
