The Fairfield, CA, Police Department took to social media to relate the details of the apprehension, announcing that on December 8, at approximately 8:05 p.m. They were alerted by an associate from a retail store about a suspect, later identified as 33-year-old Davone Bracy, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
Officer W. Smith, who responded to the call, spotted the man attempting to exit the store and proceed towards the mall's dining court. Upon attempting to make contact, Bracy reportedly shunned the officer and decided to run for it. Undeterred, Officer Smith pursued the suspect through the crowded mall, ultimately catching up and detaining him after a brief chase.
