
A chaotic scene unfolded in Pacoima on the evening of December 26 when four cars collided on Van Nuys Boulevard, leaving five injured, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The crash occurred near the 12600 block, prompting emergency services to respond rapidly to the accident site.
Among the victims, four individuals sustained minor injuries that were deemed non-life threatening. However, one person was found trapped in the wreckage of the vehicle. After a tense operation, this critical patient was extricated from their mangled vehicle, as the disaster struck at approximately 7:49 PM, as per a report by the LAFD. The identity, including age and gender, of the critically injured party has yet to be released to the public.
The Los Angeles Police Department, which has filed the incident under report number 3676, was present at the site alongside fire station units including Battalion 12, Engine 24, and others specialized in emergency extractions. The coordinated effort between firefighters and law enforcement ensured that medical attention was provided swiftly to those affected by the crash.
