A routine call about a suspicious individual on FM 2920 Road led to an arrest of a man with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant, according to authorities. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrived at the scene in the 2000 block last Monday, after receiving reports of a suspicious male lurking in the area.
Upon responding to the call, deputies quickly located and identified the individual as Alberto Quiroga. Upon conducting a standard background check, officers discovered that Quiroga was not just an ordinary suspect, but one with an existing legal predicament—an open warrant for obstructing a highway, a misdemeanor charge that had loomed over him.
"Alberto Quiroga was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant. His bond was set at $503.00 out of County Court 2," stated Constable Mark Herman in a Facebook post. The outcome of this seemingly mundane encounter underscores the everyday diligence of local law enforcement in addressing the call of duty, no matter how innocuous the situation may initially appear.
