The scene, described grimly as "quite the crash scene," offers a narrative of a car, carrying an adult male driver and a female passenger, ripping through the quiet of the night at reckless speeds. The vehicle's terrifying trajectory ended when it flew over a bayou, collided with trail beds at a company yard, and halted abruptly before a residence. The driver, now confirmed deceased, was suspected of driving while intoxicated, adding a layer of preventable tragedy to the event.
As of now, the identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin, and the condition of the female passenger remains unclear.
