A Corporal from Constable Mark Herman's Office made a notable arrest in Harris County. During a routine patrol on Tuesday, December 19, the officer stopped a vehicle on State Highway 249, where they encountered Jennifer Livas, who exhibited clear signs of drunkenness, according to authorities.
Field sobriety tests confirmed the suspicions of intoxication, with Livas' condition seemingly twice above the legal limit. The results of breathalyzer tests, which were a staggering 0.188 and 0.198, reinforced this. A statement released by the Precinct 4 described Livas' condition and the ensuing legal measures. "Jennifer Livas was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated," the precinct's official Facebook page reported.
A bond amounting to $100.00 was set for Livas at the 263rd District Court, as she faced serious DWI charges, demonstrating the precinct's no-tolerance stance on the issue.
