An 8-year-old Houston boy, Jeremiah Landry, was located safe hours after his disappearance sparked a city-wide search on Sunday night, as confirmed by the Houston Police Department.
Jeremiah was reported missing in north Houston after he was noticed last wandering near the intersection of West Gulf Bank and Veterans Memorial Drive at about 3 p.m., and though the direction in which he had headed was unknown at the time, the Houston Police announced around 11 p.m. that the boy had been found without providing specifics on his condition or where he had been discovered, KHOU reported.
Before the news, an urgent call for public assistance had been issued describing Jeremiah as a Black male, 4'8" tall, weighing 90 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, last seen donning a blue Sonic the Hedgehog hoodie and pants paired with black FILA shoes, as reported by Fox 26 Houston.
