The city of Irvine has clinched the title of Top Workplace for the third year straight, solidifying its reputation as a premier employer in Orange County. The recognition, bestowed by The Orange County Register, places the city at No. 14 among large companies with a workforce exceeding 500. Irvine stands out as the only municipality in Orange County to bag this honor, proving its dedication to fostering a workplace of distinction.
Mayor Farrah N. Khan's praise for the achievement reflects the city's ethos: "In the heart of Irvine, we are not just building a city; we are nurturing a community. The honor of being named a top workplace is a testament to the collaborative spirit, innovation, and dedication of our residents and workforce,” she told The Orange County Register.
The Orange County Register, for the 16th year, has partnered with Philadelphia's Energage to bring forward its list of top workplaces. Focused solely on employee feedback, the survey delves deeply into various aspects of corporate culture.
With a total of 146 employers on the list this year, Irvine's prominent position among large companies is significant. Employers are duly ranked within groups of similar size, ensuring a fair comparison across the board. This ranking system allows each company, from the private sector to non-profits, including government entities, to authentically showcase their workplace appeal.
