Mayor Parris expressed his dissatisfaction with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's permissive policies on crime, opting instead for a proactive stance in Lancaster, detailed the city's statement. "The recent trends in crime are being fueled by a soft stance on law enforcement in LA County; it is unacceptable," Mayor Parris stated, indicating a shift in approach for the area's security measures.
