The Los Angeles Police Department achieved swift justice on Christmas Eve, capturing suspects linked to a string of armed robberies. The LAPD Air Support and the Newton Division officers collaborated to apprehend the suspects after two consecutive robberies occurred within an hour.
LAPD Newton Division posted, "LAPD Newton Division had two Armed Robberies with the same suspect at two different locations within the past hour." Descriptions of the suspects were disseminated. A female approximately 27 years old, garbed in a ski mask and red hoodie, and the second a possible male accomplice behind the wheel of a distinct grey Chrysler 300. These incidents followed closely a similar robbery the previous day.

The LAPD's Airship soon spotted the suspect vehicle in the proximity of 46th & Avalon. This location, marred by recent crimes, became the site of resolution when officers took the suspect into custody. There was no further conflict, and no scenes of violence as the arrest was made without incident. The narrative of repeated armed assaults was punctuated with a law enforcement success story.
An update from LAPD Headquarters detailed the aftermath; "Officers located property taken during a robbery and the handgun used in the robberies." The arrests not only brought suspects into custody but also recovered items of personal significance to the victims.
