According to a post on their official Facebook page, the department has increased police patrols throughout the weekend in a proactive step to safeguard the community amidst these troubling incidents.

LBPD is urging residents to stay vigilant, to think twice before flaunting expensive items such as electronics and jewelry, and to keep their homes and businesses well illuminated.
