The Los Angeles Fire Department responded swiftly to reports of the incident which occurred at approximately 8:05 PM. As detailed in a statement on the LAFD's official website, the solo vehicle had left the roadway due to the slippery conditions brought on by recent rainfall.
The harrowing escape from potential disaster saw the vehicle occupants exiting the wreck without injury. According to the LAFD's account, the vehicle had plunged down a steep embankment making the evacuation of the trio a matter requiring specialized rescue techniques.
