Chaos ensued on Christmas Eve as a man was stabbed in what appeared to be a heated confrontation gone violent in Long Beach. According to the Long Beach Police Department, officers responded to an emergency call at around 9:31 p.m., near the intersection of Willow Street and Atlantic Avenue.
Upon arriving at the scene, they found a male victim suffering from a "superficial wound to the upper body," as stated in the police report. The wounded man received prompt medical attention from the Long Beach Fire Department, who treated him right there on the scene. A brief verbal altercation led to the violent act, with the suspects having fled the scene before law enforcement could apprehend them, leaving the victim in his blood.
Currently, the identities of the assailants are unknown. The Long Beach Police Department has not yet released any descriptions of the suspects involved in the incident. Officer John Doe, one of the first to arrive at the scene, said, "We're asking anyone with information to come forward to assist in our investigation."
