Officials from Constable Mark Herman's Office were called to address a disturbance in North Houston, resulting in the apprehension of a suspect wanted on a trespassing charge, authorities said.
Answering a call on December 23 in the 300 block of North Vista Drive, deputies encountered Gary Watson amid the commotion, a man wanted by law enforcement. The response to the disturbance led to Watson's identification, whose background check unearthed an open Criminal Trespass Warrant, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office.
Constable Mark Herman subsequently issued a statement confirming the warrant and Watson's arrest. "Gregory Watson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the Criminal Trespass Warrant," Constable Mark Herman’s statement detailed.
Although Watson is now behind bars, at the time of reporting, court records did not reveal information regarding his bond or upcoming court proceedings. The details surrounding the initial disturbance or Watson's alleged trespassing have not been made public.
