A violent string of burglaries culminated in a brutal home invasion earlier this month in Temescal Valley, with suspects linked to a spree of residential heists across the area now behind bars.

Tensions ran high when intruders busted into a home on the 10800 block of Rosemary Way on the night of December 6, leaving one victim injured, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. The Lake Mathews Sheriff's Station, investigating the robbery, posited that the perpetrators were part of a burglary ring operating in the locale.

Two days later, responding to a call about another possible residential burglary on the 11200 block of Jasmine Way, deputies spotted a suspect vehicle. The chase that ensued ended in Lake Elsinore, where three men were detained: 20-year-old Jermaine Barnes Jr. from Hemet, 19-year-old Larry Settles from Los Angeles, and 22-year-old Tionzae Mcgee-Beavers from Lake Elsinore.

A search of the vehicle and later their homes turned up not just evidence but stolen goods that linked the trio to the aggravated robbery and other burglaries. Barnes and Mcgee-Beavers are staring down the barrel of first-degree robbery and burglary charges, while Settles was booked for burglary at the Robert Presley Detention Center. The investigation remains active, with no new details released.

The authorities urge anyone with information to step forward. Tips can be reported to Investigator Yu at the Lake Mathews Station by dialing 951-272-5600.
