
A three-car collision shook the 3000 block of FM 1942 in East Harris County early Monday, trapping two and airlifting one to the hospital, as reported by the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez's X, the accident involved three vehicles and pinned two persons within the twisted metal remains of their cars. Responders to the incident suggested the dire nature of the injuries sustained. A congestion warning was issued earlier for drivers to avoid the Garth Road and Bohemian Hall Road areas.

The Fox26 Houston report reported that one person, after being extracted from their crumpled vehicle, was life-lifted to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Neither the condition of the injured nor the identities of those involved have been disclosed as of yet.
No leading cause for the carnage has been pinpointed by deputies at this time. Authorities are still investigating and promise to release more information as their investigation develops.
