Cut trees larger than 6 feet in half.
Trees cut in multiple pieces can go in yard waste bins (no full trees in bins, please).

Households opting to recycle their trees must ensure that any tree taller than six feet should be cut in half before being placed on the curb. "Cut trees larger than 6 feet in half," read the city's directive. The instructions also specify that pieces of the tree can be disposed of in yard waste bins, but full trees are not permitted within these bins.
Moreover, residents living in multifamily dwellings such as apartments or condominiums are advised to seek instructions from their property managers. These communities often have specific procedures for the collection and disposal of Christmas trees that align with their waste management policies.
