Authorities Seek Community Help to Identify Suspect in $123 Liquor Theft in Cypress

Authorities are turning to the community for assistance in catching a thief who swiped over a hundred bucks worth of booze from a local liquor store. On the afternoon of January 18, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrived at the Spec's Liquor store on Cypress Rosehill Drive after getting a call about a theft, according to their Facebook post.

The perp played a little too bold, not only grabbing $123 worth of liquor but also getting his face caught on camera. The loss prevention employee tried to block the suspect's escape route but failed. Now the constables are sharing the video surveillance, hoping someone will recognize the suspect described as a black male dressed in a white hoodie, light blue pants, and white shoes. Fleeing on foot was seen as the suspect dashed from the scene.

"If you have any information regarding the identity of the suspect, you are urged to contact our dispatch at 281-376-3472," Constable Mark Herman urged the public.
