A Big Bear Lake man faces charges after cops busted him for allegedly stocking and intending to sell cocaine out of a residential block on Knight Avenue.
Treavor Cortenbach, 34, got nabbed on December 28 by deputies from the Multiple Enforcement Team, who obtained a tip-off that he was dealing cocaine in the area. In a turn of events, that led them to identify Cortenbach's residence as a possible stash house for the drugs, a search warrant was subsequently issued and executed.
When deputies swarmed the address, they reportedly found Cortenbach and about 27 small baggies of white powder, assumed to be cocaine, along with an assortment of items that suggested drug trafficking activities were taking place. The total cocaine haul was over an ounce, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner's Department's press release.
Cortenbach got slapped with possession of narcotics for sale charge, but he didn't stay behind bars for long. After being booked into Big Bear Jail, he made bail, shaking off the shackles until his February 14 arraignment. However, authorities are pressing on with the case and are asking anyone with more information to step forward.
