Responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle on January 6, police made an arrest at a business located in the 4300 block of FM 2920 Road. The occupant, identified as Brent Bachmann, was found with methamphetamine and had two outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office, having arrived on the scene, discovered Bachmann and subsequently found out that he was wanted for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading Arrest. Wrapped in the struggle of addiction, methamphetamine was also found in his possession.
"Brent Bachmann was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance," as Constable Mark Herman's Office reported on Facebook. The details surrounding his total bond and court information were not available immediately following the arrest.
While the investigation is still in progress, local authorities stress the import of community vigilance and reporting suspicious activities. With Bachmann now facing charges, law enforcement hopes to send a clear message about the consequences of drug possession and related offenses. The suspects are often found under layers of desperation and decay, struggling with the substances they carry.
