A routine traffic stop by a deputy of Constable Mark Herman's Office in the 5700 block of West Rayford Road turned into a narcotics bust on January 22. Identified as the driver during the stop was Jacob Szymczyk, according to a statement released by the Precinct. Constable K9 "Rambo" Tom Ramsey was brought to the scene, where the trained canine alerted officers to the presence of drugs in Szymczyk's vehicle.

The subsequent search of Szymczyk's vehicle led to a significant find. Officers uncovered 20 grams of Methamphetamine and 6.2 grams of assorted pills. According to the official Facebook post of Constable Herman's Office, the discovery of these narcotics was critical in to quickly move to apprehend Szymczyk on charges related to drug possession and intent to distribute.

"Jacob Szymczyk was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail, charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $3,000 out of the 176th District Court."  the constable's statement noted.
