A deadly encounter between a vehicle and a light pole claimed the life of one driver late last night at Airline Drive and E. Mitchell. The Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed the tragic event via their official X account, stating that units had responded to the scene where they found the driver deceased upon their arrival. Traffic on the southbound lanes of Airline was brought to a standstill as officials investigated the crash.
