In a routine patrol turned arrest scenario, constables of Harris County have once again cuffed a motorist for driving while under the influence. According to an official Facebook statement by Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop on January 10, detaining Edgar Olivo for his second such offense.
The stop, which occurred on Jones Road in the 13300 block, turned investigative when Olivo, who was behind the wheel, allegedly exhibited "multiple signs of intoxication," as stated in Mark Herman's Facebook posts. Deputies at the scene subjected him to Standard Field Sobriety Tests, which confirmed that the driver was indeed intoxicated, as noted in the law enforcement's social media post.
Consequent to these findings, the officers arrested Olivo, processing him into Harris County Jail.
The justice system quickly assigned his case to County Court 3, where his bond was set at a notably low $100. This marks the second such instance Olivo faces charges for driving while intoxicated, Mark Herman's Facebook post disclosed. "Edgar Olivo was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated - 2nd Offense," the Constable stated in the release. With the legal process in motion, Olivo now awaits further judicial determination.
