A routine traffic stop led to an arrest in Harris County last week when deputies found a driver with a loaded firearm and marijuana. According to a statement obtained by Constable Mark Herman's Office, a vehicle was pulled over on January 19, in the 13300 block of Will Clayton Parkway, where Malik Hawthorne was identified as the driver.
During the stop, the subsequent search uncovered the illegal items. Hawthorne was arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon "Malik Hawthorne was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Unlawful Carry of Weapon. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 5.", Constable Mark Herman reported.
