A recent disturbance call in Harris County has led to the arrest of a woman with a pending assault warrant, officials said.
Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrived at the scene on the 4900 block of Spring Cypress Road on January 11, 2024, following reports of a commotion. There, they found April Taylor, the woman allegedly involved in the disturbance. A routine check exposed an outstanding warrant for her arrest tied to an assault charge, law enforcement stated.
"April Taylor was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, for the open warrant. Her bond was set at $2,000.00 out of County Court 13," said Constable Mark Herman in a post shared on the official Facebook page of Precinct 4.
Details regarding the nature of the disturbance or the specifics of the warrant for Taylor have not been disclosed by officials. Taylor’s current legal representation, if any has not come forward with comments following the incident.
