A woman suspected of driving while intoxicated in Harris County has been apprehended and faces additional charges after allegedly assaulting a public servant. According to a recent post by Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies responded to a call about a potential drunk driver on January 19, around 15500 Kuykendahl Road, the suspect, Eryn Wilson, was located after an eye witness reportedly followed her vehicle and contacted authorities.
Upon conducting a traffic stop, Constable Deputies identified Wilson, who presented clear signs of intoxication, she refused to submit to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests leading to deputies obtaining a warrant for a blood specimen. Amid the arrest, it was discovered that Wilson had two outstanding warrants, the situation escalated at the jail where Wilson struck a medical technician across the chest, causing pain, as stated in the authorities’ Facebook post.
The incident has led to Wilson's arrest for her open warrants, and she now faces additional charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Harassment of a Public Servant, according to the Constable's official Facebook page.
"Eryn Wilson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Harassment of a Public Servant." Her bond and court information have not been set at this time." said Constable Mark Herman.
