Houston Driver Charged with DWI, Unlawful Weapon Possession, and Drug Offense Following Traffic Stop

Noemi Villarreal found herself in handcuffs after a run-in with the law during a routine traffic stop. According to the Facebook post by Harris County Constable's Office Precinct 4, the incident unfolded in the 13200 block of Jones Road on January 10, 2023, when deputies pulled over Villarreal for an undisclosed violation.

Detecting the tell-tale signs of inebriation, deputies administered field sobriety tests, which Villarreal failed, signaling she was indeed intoxicated. The routine stop escalated when a vehicle search unearthed more than just traffic violations, deputies discovered both a firearm, and a stash of cocaine in Villarreal's possession. As per Mark Herman, Harris County Constable office, "Noemi Villarreal was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon and Possession of Controlled Substance."
