An 18-year-old man, identified as Isaih Morales, has been arrested and charged in the stabbing death of a man at a Robertson Street residence this past Thursday, authorities confirmed. The incident occurred at the 4112 Robertson Street address around 4:20 p.m. According to the Houston Police Department, an unresponsive male with multiple stab wounds was discovered at the scene, later pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.
After initial investigations, Morales, who is the victim’s brother, was pegged as the primary suspect. Morales attempted to to initially flee the ordeal, but in a twist of conscience, he later contacted authorities. "He subsequently called 911, provided his location," stated the Houston Police, as documented in their report. The suspect was eventually arrested and transported to the Harris County Jail.
As reported by the City of Houston, Morales is now facing murder charges in the 176th State District Court. The name of the 22-year-old victim has yet to be released, pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The investigation was led by HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective J. Gardner, who quickly to responded to the stabbing call. The Houston Fire Department paramedics were on the scene, performing the crucial task of transporting the victim to the hospital. The Harris County District Attorney's Office was consulted following Morales' arrest and chose to to formally charge him for his alleged role in the tragic incident.
