Authorities have escalated their hunt for a suspect involved in a deadly shooting incident in Houston. The accused, Aaron Joshua James, 19, is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following a violent altercation last month. Ronald Hamilton, 25, has already been apprehended in connection with the crime, which ended in tragedy at a residence on Adler Drive.
Investigators pieced together the case that led to the charges against the two men. A distress call to police on December 16th reported gunfire, which resulted in Montre Dijon Birdow, 32, being rushed to the hospital in critical condition. According to a news release, he succumbed to his injuries the following day. Both Hamilton and James were subsequently identified by HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Finlay and L. Kauffman as suspects. While James remains at large, Hamilton was picked up without trouble by police officers in New Braunfels during a routine traffic stop on January 13.
With one suspect in custody, law enforcement's focus has shifted toward locating James. HPD has released a past booking photo of the accused, hoping that assistance from the public might lead to his arrest. Hamilton, meanwhile, is being held on a murder charge in the Harris County Jail after his extradition back to Harris County.

Both individuals have become central figures in another chapter of violence unraveling on Houston's streets, their actions leaving irreversible marks on the lives tied to the case at 13234 Adler Drive.
