Houston Police Investigate After Woman Found Dead in Ditch on Halifax Street

Authorities are piecing together the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a woman's body found unresponsive in a ditch at 13100 Halifax Street, Houston. The Houston Police Department, acting upon a "person down" call, encountered the lifeless body on Thursday afternoon, around 1:15 p.m. The woman, whose identity remains undetermined, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Houston Fire Department paramedics.
