A brutal shooting at a Houston tire shop has left one man dead and an employee injured, sparking an intensive search for the gunman by local law enforcement. The incident, which occurred yesterday evening, is now under investigation by the Houston Police Department.
According to FOX26 Houston, the violent attack took place in the 2100 block of Mansard, where a man, described as a Black male in his 30s was shot dead outside the tire business. The assailant reportedly approached from a back street and opened fire with a rifle, striking the man 18 times and an employee once. After the assault, the suspect fled the scene with the victim's wallet. The descriptions of the perpetrator and his weapon have since prompted authorities to believe that the shooting was targeted.
The male victim, who had brought his car in for work at a 24-hour tire shop, sadly did not survive the onslaught. The wounded employee sustained an injury to the arm and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
