The Houston Police Department is earnestly requesting the public's assistance in identifying suspects involved in recent robberies across the city. In one episode, two men, described as black males around 5'9", hit a Subway in northwest Houston. As per the Fox 26 Houston report, on November 6, 2023 at approximately 4:40 pm, the pair entered the 5300 block of Antoine location, with one brandishing a handgun, and after failing to spot an employee, they jumped over the counter. The armed man escorted an employee found at the back to the cash register to forcefully open it and took away the cash before fleeing in a small SUV.
In a strikingly similar incident, the same suspects are believed to have committed another armed robbery just two days later at a nearby Domino's Pizza. According to authorities, the duo once again jumped over the counter and demanded the employees to open the cash register at gunpoint. After securing the money, they left the location in an unknown direction. Both suspects were captured on surveillance wearing distinctive clothing - one in a black jacket and gray shorts, the other in orange pants and a black shirt.
Separately, a shoplifting incident turned violent at a discount store on the 5100 block of Almeda. An unidentified female, described as wearing a camo jacket, yellow pants, and yellow cap, is reported to have filled a backpack with items and attempted to leave the store without paying.
Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of any suspects involved in these felonies. Individuals with knowledge of the suspects' identities or whereabouts are encouraged to come forward and can submit tips anonymously by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), or can to submit an online tip at www.crime-stoppers.org, or through the Crime Stoppers mobile app.
