Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office nabbed a female shoplifter at a Houston area Target, authorities reported. The incident, which took place on January 9, involved the suspect reportedly concealing merchandise worth over $329 before attempting to leave the store without making the purchase.
A swift response to the 19500 block of the North Freeway saw constable deputies arriving at the retail giant where they identified the suspect as Hailey Biglow. According to a statement obtained by the Constable's official Facebook page, the goods were recovered and duly returned to the business. The precise nature of the pilfered items remains undisclosed.
"Hailey Biglow was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with theft. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 14," Constable Mark Herman's social media post detailed. Biglow's quick transition from a Target aisle to a courtroom highlights the constable deputies' diligence in addressing retail theft.
Details surrounding Biglow's alleged theft and subsequent arrest were first shared publicly on January 10 via Constable's Facebook page. With theft charges formally pressed, Biglow's case will be processed through the legal system.
