Two women took revenge too far when they attempted to storm a Houston residence, accused of trying to kick in the door of a woman they blamed for a pal's arrest. The incident, which happened on January 13, kicked off when deputies arrived at the scene in the 14300 block of Philippine St. However, the suspects had already fled, stated Constable Mark Herman's Office.
In what seems like a vendetta gone wrong, the pair was apprehended after is was found they'd been trying to file a phony police report. Fleeing before deputies could apprehend them at the residence, they were later detained. Identified as Bria Williams and Frankie Abimbola, their plan to assault the complainant as retaliation backfired.
The drama didn't end at the doorstep. Details provided by Constable Mark Herman's Facebook page revealed their plot to discredit the complainant with falsified legal claims. But their schemes quickly unwound under investigation. "Bria Williams and Frankie Abimbola were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Retaliation," Herman's statement detailed.
Williams' bond was set at $5,000.00 out of the 487th District Court. Throwing another twist into their tail of retaliation gone awry, Abimbola threw authorities a curveball by no-showing in the court and is currently wanted by law enforcement, the post from Constable Herman concluded.
