Kahwa Coffee Roasters Branches Out to Fort Worth with New Location Opening SpringSource: Google Street View

Fort Worth is gearing up to welcome a taste of Florida this spring with the expansion of the Kahwa Coffee Roasters franchise. As per a state filing, the Florida-based coffee company has set its sights on a location at 1066 West Magnolia Avenue, with an estimated construction cost of $50,500 and the doors expected to open by March 29. The filing, which detailed the project with the name Kahwa Coffee Store 1, was sourced from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The designated site in Tarrant County is prepared for a finish out of the existing space for commercial retail, encompassing 1,000 square feet. Arlington's LBL Architects have been tapped for the design, with Freedom Commercial Properties LLC listed as the owner of the property. However, it's noted that the private funds for the project do not come from the tenant, whose identity has yet to be assigned.

Known for its Arabica beans sourced globally, Kahwa Coffee has enjoyed success since its inception in 2006. They firmly establish their commitment to quality and freshness by roasting and packaging each blend to order. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, "These beans are then blended and skillfully roasted to produce a complex flavor that allows each origin to yield it's most distinct palate."

In what sounds like a caffeine aficionado's dream, the menu promises a variety of hot and iced drinks, including Chai Lattes, Americanos, and their signature Nitro, in addition to pastries and breakfast items. The brand's reputation saw a significant boost in 2008 when esteemed French chef Paul Bocuse chose Kahwa for his restaurant Les Chefs de France, and ever since the company has been as dedicated to community and quality service as they are to expanding their reach.

While the Kahwa spokesperson did not immediately return a message seeking comment on the new Fort Worth location, the anticipation for its opening is palpable among local coffee enthusiasts. A completion date for the project of March 29 is set, with the facility requiring an accessibility inspection by a Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS) within a year of completion, as mandated by state law.
