A 79-year-old woman from northern Michigan has been hit with charges after she sent inappropriate messages to a minor, Michigan State Police divulged. The elderly suspect, identified as Sue Ann Asch, allegedly used texts and the social media app Snapchat to communicate unsuitable content in September 2023.
According to The Detroit News, Asch was acquainted with the youth who received the messages, though the exact context of these communications hasn't been released. Following the report made to authorities, Asch’s home in Kalkaska was searched, and multiple electronic devices were seized as part of the investigation. The minor involved was subsequently interviewed at the Traverse City Children's Advocacy Center.
