Authorities note Garcia could be traveling in a grey Prius bearing the license plate GREYBUG, urging anyone with information to contact them directly.
In what has become an increasingly tense search, the police and community members searched for the elderly woman who has been a cornerstone in her neighborhood, and the Napa Police made a public appeal on their Facebook page for any assistance in finding Garcia before finding her vehicle in the 2200 block of Big Ranch Road on January 30. The investigation into Garcia's disappearance took a tragic turn when the Napa Police Department discovered her deceased; the cause of death is under investigation, although initial findings do not suggest foul play, the Napa Police Department reported.
